Born in 19 and 16, a bump in the road called the Great Depression limited his schooling to grade 8. WWII sent him to the South Pacific for four years. Then he gave 56 years, 6 months and 20 days to the Houston Fire Dept. He honored me with a college education, anything his master machinist hands (size of baseball gloves) could create ... and his last name. For 40 years I called him Daddy. Houston, TX.
