were not purchased or consumed by any person wishing to preserve a chaste
image. However, after lengthy PR
campaigns to debunk its unsavory reputation, today American football fans buy
53 million pounds of Hass avocados for Super Bowl Sunday. Second only to Cinco de
Mayo as the day of the year the most guacamole is consumed.
