Juvenile Spotted Drum / St. Vincent

Spotted Drums have special muscles that can cause their swim bladders to vibrate and produce a low resonating drumming sound. The juveniles (often mistaken as similar looking Jackknife or Highhat Fish) are very striking having unusually elongated fore-dorsal fins. Approx length 4-5 inches. St. Vincent, West Indies.
